The Ross’ in Copenhagen – Part 2

As mentioned in the previous post “The Ross’ in Copenhagen – Part 1” we ended the day (22nd july) in Tivoli with a nice walk around, tried a few rides and games and had a lovely dinner at Hereford Beefstouw.
The following day we went to the zoo where we spent a good few hours. We even tried eating insects 😱 There was this little cart that sold soya fried insects, so I thought it would be fun thing to try. In all honesty it didn’t taste bad, it just tasted of the spices that were used. The only thing I personally did not like was the thin legs of the crickets, they got stuck in your teeth 😬 Not so pleasant! Would I eat insects again? Sure, but not the crickets haha. We did go and have a proper lunch just outside the zoo though, it wasn’t just all insects!
After spending the majority of the day at Copenhagen Zoo we went to the amusement park Bakken. My mom joined us at Bakken where we tried a few rides and also went for a horse carriage ride. The following day (24th July) was a short one as they went home that day and I had a concert planned that night. But we did go on a sightseeing boat ride (canal tours) and had a lovely lunch at Café Norden. Can’t wait for them all to visit again ❤️

The flamingo ‘cage’ is really large and I love that it is possible to walk in there among them (ofc we can’t literally get right next to them) 😊
