That time I Became A Digital Coordinator at Google

I’M A GOOGLE DIGITAL COORDINATOR

At the end of last year I joined the Google Digital Coordinator course here in Copenhagen. I actually encouraged my friend Vanessa to join too, and we (luckily) ended up in the same class – yay! It also turned out that two people from my master’s degree class were at the course too, such a small world isn’t it?

The flu, an eye infection and a lot of tea.

It’s been years since I’ve been this sick with the flu. It’s been a while since I’ve written anything here too to be fair, I won’t wallow in that for too long though. What’s done is done, I haven’t had much time this year for my blog and that’s the short and simple version. It’s something I need to change, because I like writing here! Anyway…

Ever tried photo Magnets?

Photo Magnets from Squared

Many years ago I ordered some photo magnets for my fridge from a company called Sticky9. They specialized in printing Instagram photos in all sorts of material. However, they have since closed down. Back then, what I really wanted was to print out my instagram photos in a cool way, and recently I had been thinking that I needed some new magnets. So when I discovered Squared and their services I was very happy.

A glimpse of what we have been cooking for dinner in January 2019

What we’ve been cooking for dinner

Both Matt and I enjoy food and cooking new recipes. Perhaps I enjoy it a bit more than he does, but we generally both like to cook and we are both decent at it. I have quite a lot of cookbooks, (Matt would probably claim I have too many) so it is easy to find inspiration for new recipes. The past few months we have been using Jamie Oliver’s 5 Ingredients quite a bit. If you have the book you might be able to spot some of his meals further down.

We do eat quite healthy dinners at home and we cook everything from scratch. Well, almost everything… We don’t make our own pasta yet, although I know it is something Matt would like to try. Our kitchen is rather small, so we don’t have room for a lot of machines and tools. We don’t even have a microwave! (and no it is not something I miss lol).

LIFE LATELY ♡

January, 2019.

Here’s to a good start to the new year! 😊 The year started in UK with us travelling back to Denmark at the start of January. However, due to shortage of staff our SAS plan had to divert and land in Oslo. This meant we had to wait 1,5 hours in Oslo airport before being able to fly back to Copenhagen. This resulted in us being refunded our tickets in full, so… not too bad.

This month was also when I started my internship at SDEX. Pretty exciting really! I will be working as a digital marketing manager, and I will be building the website from scratch and work on some campaigns.

Else January was a month with a lot of burgers haha. I had quite a few dinners out with friends and colleagues and Matt. I also went to the cinema a few times and had a few walks in the snow. Anyway here are some photos from this month;
