My Trip To: Ecuador (Part 7)

Ecuador 2014 – Part seven
Please read Ecuador 2014 part one for more info. This post will basically just be a lot of photos (along some lines) from my trip.

GOING TO THE BEACH
My dad rented a spacious car which we drove to the beach in. One of the most beautiful things about Ecuador is that they basically have all different climates. Quito, the capital, is where we spent most time. That is the highest capital in the world (above sea level), and as such it isn’t too warm there since it’s so high up. But, when you head to the beach you have to go through the mountains which means going through the rain forest. And that my friends is warm. Boy oh boy is it warm and humid. Once you reach the beach it’s still pretty humid, but at least you can get a nice breeze from the ocean. The drive to the beach is beautiful, and long. Pretty darn long.

Driving out of the city

Pretty typical view from the drive from Quito towards the beach

I couldn’t work like this. I so respect that they can!

Two hours away from our destination we stopped to get some lunch at this cool ‘bird’ restaurant

Toucan birds are so cute

A little feeding area for the birds

This is the best mango chicken I have ever had

The view from our table

Hummingbirds just outside <3

Loved going outside to the restaurants ‘balcony’

We could see a little building near the river from the ‘balcony’

Finally near the beach
love these trip photos
