MERRY CHRISTMAS

As I am writing this I am sitting in front of a cozy fire, a few meters away from a beautiful Christmas tree with loads of presents underneath, a nice tin of cookies is placed in front of me as well as a cup of tea. It is slightly blissful – and I really appreciate it.

I do hope you are all having a merry Christmas too, surrounded by loved ones, eating good food and perhaps opening a few nice presents. As I am not in Denmark this year for Christmas I will be missing out on a good slice of Flæskesteg and a nice tender duck. I will however eat some nice turkey with gravy and all the things that come with it.

Tonight Matt and I are at his parents place and there’s a Christmas eve gathering with some of his family. It’ll be cozy and there’ll be loads of ‘party food’ and dessert. Tomorrow is Christmas Day and that’s when Christmas is truly celebrated over here. The Dane in me will always think that real Christmas is on the 24th (today!) haha ?Regardless it’s very cozy here and I am already having a good time. I hope you guys are too.
