Georgetown
Last Wednesday my aunt, grandma and I went to Georgetown (as mentioned in the “two weeks in America” post)

Georgetown is a really cozy little town and I would definitely recommend anyone who is in the area to go check it out. There are a lot of stores, restaurants and even a ‘famous’ cupcake bakery!
We walked around for a few hours and we were even lucky enough to get caught in the middle of a huuuuuge rain-shower. MAN it rained a lot. We were soaked within seconds! Not minutes… It was literally like 10 seconds and I might as well have jumped in the Potomac River… same same. Luckily it wasn’t raining all the time. We were able to walk around without feeling like we were standing in the shower. However, the humidity made it feel like our body was a shower. Aaahh the joy of sweating in places you didn’t know existed. We ended the trip with a visit at Georgetown Cupcakes. On our way back we stopped at Best Buy, World Market and Bed, Bath & Beyond. I picked up a mini wireless speaker, I figured it would be a good idea to bring with me for my upcoming roadtrip (not for the car but for the motels and such). I also bought something as excited as a mat for my counter for clean dishes. I know, that information just rocked your world didn’t it? No? Alright.
