LIFE LATELY ♡

July, 2017.

July was both the best month of the year and somewhat the craziest. Matt moved in on the 3rd of July <3 and his parents stayed with us for five days. It was super cozy to hang out with them and spend some quality time. However, on the 5th of July I discovered a rash on my chest, and decided to go to the doctor. It turned out it was shingles! Of all things… I ended up getting really ill. Not just from shingles but I also got almost every side effect from the medicin I was taking. I was pretty out of it. And at the same time I had classes at summer university (ISUP) which i obviously did not attend. So i missed like 80% of ISUP… So that was pretty annoying. But shit happens! Anyway, here are some photos (some with description) from this month;

I went to my mom’s place on the 30th of June and stayed to 1st July. And she made elderflower cordial, YUM!

Monday Mumbles

 01. I’ve now been at TimeLog for a bit over a week. It’s been very educational and I’ve amongst other learned to use HubSpot. Obviously you can’t learn everything about HubSpot in a week but I’ve made a start on it and I’m getting comfortable with it. I actually think it’s a genius tool and I can’t wait to know how to do everything ‘in it’ 😛

The Intern

A New Chapter

Last Thursday I had my first day as an intern at TimeLog. TimeLog, in case you don’t know, is an IT Company that has created, and sells, a time registration program or time registration solutions if you will (but also so much more!). That’s the simplest way of explaining it, I think.

So yes, last thursday was my first day and it started out with us new interns being introduced to every department. We are actually four interns in total, all doing different things. Two of us (me and Camilla) are in the sales and marketing department. The other two are in support. Friday was really the first proper work day, as that’s when I started to learn how to do things. I’ve still got loads to learn but I am really enjoying the work so far, and I love the environment and colleagues. It’s a very positive and energetic place! Then there’s also the most delicious lunch everyday – bonus! I’m really looking forward to getting to know all the various systems, and learn how to tackle all the tasks waiting ahead.

Family summer “picnic”: Carlsberg Museum

Visiting Carlsberg Museum in Valby

Every summer my family on my Danish grandfather’s side meet up for a yearly “picnic”. We always make it a cultural thing, where we visit a museum, or exhibition, park, garden or something similar. We take turns planning the ‘trip’ and this year (yesterday) it was my mom’s cousin Arne and his wife Grethe who planned it.
