Richard.
Meet Richard. Or Richie as I usually call him. Yes, I do not actually call him “Dick” since I think it’s odd and a tad on the offensive side. This man is pretty nice. He’s actually really nice and kind and loving and romantic and fluffy. I don’t think I’m supposed to tell the world that. What I meant to say is; he is super tough and super manly! Honestly though, he is all those things and a lot more. He is also extremely weird which fits me very well since I’m somewhat weird too. He’s also really strong, and really ticklish. I love to tickle him even though he absolutely detests it. He’s pretty amazeballs if you ask me. But then again I am probably biased because he is the one I love.
I figured it was time to make a little introduction about him since he is a big part of my life. I’ve actually never made this sort of introduction before. There’s a first for everything! So, I’ve told a bit about who he is. But what does he do? And where is he from? Well… He is from Sweden which is just across the other side of the bridge from where I live. He is a born and raised Stockholmian, {I may or may not have just invented a word there}. So he, like me, is used to the big city life. He has a good family and a really kind sister and the cutest niece. He speaks Swedish and English and is trying to speak Danish too. Emphasis on trying. He likes to ski and to golf. He also likes to workout, usually each week-day. He doesn’t like hair on his head but I’ve forced him to not look like a bully. This summer he’s most likely to have a bachelor degree. But after the summer he’ll study something else because he found a different path. He’s quite good at cooking but not baking. But that’s okay, I’m quite decent at baking. Oh and did I mention he’s 26? Well he is. Such an oldie.
Right now we live apart. But not for long. The plan is to move in together this summer after exams and all. It will be epic. Epic I tell you! And I can’t wait for that chapter of my life to begin.

Aurora Borealis
I actually shared this video back in 2011 and I stumbled upon it just now. If you haven’t seen this yet – Do watch it. It is one of the most beautiful shootings of the Aurora Borealis I have seen to date. I would really love to experience it myself one day! I would also advice you to check out TSO Photography’s other videos on vimeo. They’re all stunning :)

“I was in the winter of my life and the men I met along the road were my only Summer. At night I fell asleep with visions of myself dancing and laughing and crying with them. Three years down the line of being on an endless world tour and my memories of them were the only things that sustained me, and my only real happy times. I was always an unusual girl, my mother told me I had a chameleon soul. No moral compass pointing due north, no fixed personality. Just an inner indecisiveness that was as wide and as wavering as the ocean. And if I said that I didn’t plan for it to turn out this way, I’d be lying because I was born to be the other woman. I belonged to no one who belonged to everyone, who had nothing who wanted everything with a fire for every experience and an obsession for freedom that terrified me to the point that I couldn’t even talk about and pushed me to a nomadic point of madness that both dazzled and dizzied me.
Every night I used to pray that I’d find my people and finally I did on the open road. We had nothing to lose, nothing to gain, nothing we desired anymore except to make our lives a work of art.
Live fast. Die Young. Be Wild. And Have Fun.

Everything has its beauty, but not everyone sees it

I must say that she has been one of my girl crushes for quite a while. She’s somewhat an inspiration because she worked her ass off to get to where she is today. I first discovered her when I started listening to her music when I was about ten I think. I loved her songs, they were very catchy. Remember “Waiting for tonight?” that was one of my favorite songs. She has really evolved over the years style wise. I guess she hasn’t changed that much music wise since she is a pop artist and has stayed in that zone. Althought her “Jenny From The Block” was a bit RnB ish’. She also turned to the movie screen, actually before her debut album, in 1997. But the movie I always remember her for is “Enough“. She really kicks ass in that movie. I think a lot of men drool over her and I can completely understand why, I mean she has ALL the right curves. The photos from above are some stills from her music video “I’m into you” from 2011, I love her style in this video. However, it is probably a stylist who did all that but still. She is beautiful! And she should really get some credit because she still looks stunning even after having twins. I mean she’s still got that famous booty :P
I made a post about Eva Mendes a while ago where I said I was going to make a few post about my Icons. I must admit that took a while haha. But I will continue with this.
