    Maybe our mistakes are what make our fate.

    One of the TV channels here in Denmark { tv3 to be precise} is airing four episodes of SATC each night from 10pm. Being a huge SATC “fan” I’m very pleased that they’re showing them again. I have loved SATC for many many years and there is something nostalgic about watching it from an actual TV channel, probably because it reminds me of when I was in my early teens. { Man do I feel old being able to say that } However, one thing that I did not miss are the commercial breaks…. So I decided to go against the whole nostalgicy’ feeling and picked up Season Three of SATC and shoved it on my Blu Ray player. I can watch this show all day and all night, over and over again. It’s not many TV-Shows I want to re-watch but this is most certainly one of them.

    Those joyful days ★

    Sometimes after work I get so tired that I collapse around 21:00… And that to me is way to early! Yesterday I decided to install an old game I played a few years back “Left4Dead2″, and I figured I should go read a book whilst I was waiting for it to be done. I grabbed “A Clash of Kings” and started to read and as I drifted off into the universe of knights and dragons I fell asleep. I awoke a few hours later, turned off my computer and decided to go back to sleep. I opened my eyes at 07:00 and thought to myself that on a day off I shall certainly not get up at 07:00 am. I dozed off again and awoke at 10:00 am from all the sunlight trough my window..

    I love those days where I can sleep in. Where I don’t have to set an alarm or have any important plans to do that day. So today has been quite relaxing. I sat on my balcony in the sun eating my oatmeal and tried to read “A Clash of Kings”, however the sun was too bright to enjoy it. So I just sat there and ate and listened to the birds {Yeah birds do sing even when in the city! } By now half of the day has gone since it’s almost three O’ clock. I’ve done my assignments for tomorrow, cleaned my apartment, done some other work, gone through photos and watched an episode of “The Secret Circle”. The rest of the day will be spend on organizing my closet, reading “A clash of Kings” and probably playing some L4D2 with some friends {which btw scares the living shit out of me}.     My Birthday presents

    From left: I got a blinis-pan so I can make perfect shaped American pancakes, yay! My adorable sister made these two drawings for me, they are so cute. As you may see I’ve also gotten a Chanel nail-polish and it’s the one called “Graphite” I am already in love with it. “The complete tales and poems of Edgar Allan Poe” is now part of my book collection however, I did return this one and got a different edition. Audrey.. Oh Audrey.. the people who has been in my apartment  knows how much I adore her haha! I got a tiny wallet thingy and a beautiful Calendar for 2012 with her on it. The see-through-able box you can see at the top is a makeup organizer {I’ll show you more about that another day.} I got myself some facial and body scrub from the brand Comwell Spa / Spa-losophy. Some cool cash! Who can’t use that!? Can you see the tinie tiny blue thingy next to the money? That’s a broche my sister made for me too, it’s so cute! I also got three great goodies which I really wanted, cover-sheets and pillow-covers, from H&M Home. I’ve also been so lucky to get a huge and very beautiful candle holder + candle from Georg Jensen {a danish brand}, just what I longed for.

    I wished for pillows and I got pillows! I am a cuddly-snuggle type of person and I love having loads of pillows in my couch and in my bed. On another note I prefer not sleeping on a pillow, weird huh? I usually sleep on my arm or snuggled all up in my cover. Anyway I got four beautiful pillows and they can all  be bought in Magasin.

    As you saw above I got some money and I’ve spend some of that on these babies above. I’ve heard well about this concealer so I though it was about time to try it. So far I’m very happy with my purchase. The lipstick in the middle is “Viva Glam Gaga 2″ and I love it! It’s a nude color and looks very cute. The last one is a Mattene Lipstick from MAC’s newest collection called “Legendary” it has a very dark and warm red color. I can make a post about these two later if you would like to see them on?

    I also decided to buy a few dvd’s. Tropic Thunder is a favorite. It’s such a silly action-comedy and it generally reminds me of a good time with two close friends. The Shawshank Redemption is a classic which I thought belonged in my collection. Blå mænd, which means blue men, is a danish comedy and blades of glory was on sale for absolutely nothing so I grabbed that too!

    The rest of the money was spend on a lot of socks! I can’t believe how much money I actually spend on socks. SOCKS!? But it was needed. I got myself some really nice ones from H&M here amongst some knee high ones and I also bought a pair from Abercrombie & Fitch. I bought a black dress because a girl can’t have too many black dresses am I right? {I’m a little obsessed with black dresses I think I have 12 now…} The cute silver “bag” looking things you can see to the right are from H&M home and to the left there’s another see-through-able thing. Which is a “twin organizer” for cotton pads. Oh right I bought a hat as well! A dark purple one which I thought looked darn fine with the black dress.

    My dear ex sent me some presents as well one of them neatly wrapped in home made paper because he allegedly didn’t have any… *shifty eyes* We spoke a couple of months ago about An Idiot Abroad and how I hadn’t seen the show. So when I opened the present I was actually quite surprised. He also got me a bear-hat which I will have to show you soon. I need some better pictures of it. He also did very well in the hat department because; three months ago I mentioned that I liked this hat and he managed to remember go him! It’s an adorable hat btw just wait and see!

    I also ordered some books here amongst the other edition of Poe. I’m gonna pick them up Monday from the post office yippeeee! Some gifts I haven’t gotten a picture of is two other books, actually Poe again which I returned too since having two editions of one book is silly! I also got a cupcake book, a beautiful blanket and a third heart-cover-sheet from H&M from my best friend. I am so thankful for all these beautiful gifts! I feel so lucky to have such a kind and generous family and friends. My love and gratitude goes out to them ❤

    Hello twenty-two!

    …And goodbye twenty-one. I turned twenty-two last Sunday and I am now 8 years closer to thirty… yikes! I had invited my family, or well some of it, for a cake and bun eating session at my sweet little apartment. Boy was it interesting to be that many in my living room, but we managed. I think my living room is about 25 m2 maybe even smaller? and we were 14 people!! However, we did it and there was actually room enough for a couple more {can you believe it?} I felt, and still feel, like a super blessed girl {should I say woman because I’m 22? I don’t wanna :( lol} because I was surrounded by so many people I love and I got the best Birthday presents. {I’ll make a separate post with a list of the presents!} It was an amazing day!

    Marvelous company

    - Can you guess which movies I’m watching?

     

    I can’t begin to describe how happy both these movies makes me. I adore them and I could watch them over and over again, in fact I have on numerous occasions. They are both one of these “feel good” movies and I just love the endings. They’re so romantic, affectionate and passionate and  yes, you will definitely know what happens in the end but it’s the journey both films takes us on that captivates and it is lovely… oh so lovely!

    Little details







    Today I’ve had a very calm Sunday. Isn’t that what Sunday’s are for anyway? My dear mother came by for a couple of hours it’s really nice when she comes around I kind of miss her being around me. She was also so nice to bring me some groceries, just a few things but I really do appreciate it. What student wouldn’t? :D  I’ve been rearranging the letters on my fridge to make a quote which I hold dear. Oh do you guys know wordfeud? I’m such an addict!! It’s just like scrabble but on your phone, such a brilliant invention. if you do have wordfeud feel free to add me if you want to play :] Also I didn’t make pancakes but I will tomorrow, I think…

    Happy and excited, to disappointed to happy again!!

    There’s of course a story behind this title…
    So I go out with some trash and on the way back I decide to check
    my mail cause I am sorta expecting a special issue of Empire Magazine,
    (A HARRY POTTER ISSUE OH EM GEEE).
    So I open my mailbox and there’s a ton of advertisements and then I see a
    huge white envelope and I’m all like “Oh my gosh its the magazine yaaaaay”
    but then it turns out it’s just Louis Vuitton sending me a catalog.
    I do like their catalogs but I was hoping for Empire so I got really disappointed…

    THEN…
    I discover that there’s a smaller envelope from the UK and I think who
    on earth sent me something? Turn’s out it’s from Joseph so as I
    am sitting on my balcony opening it, I realize what this could be. And at first it looked
    like a weird purse cause it was all tucked together but then it hit me…
    IT IS A GRYFFINDOR SCARF!!!!
    { I’ll take a picture tomorrow }

    Oh I started laughing so loud (I wonder if my neighbours think im insane!?)
    and then I called Joseph straight away. Gosh that boy makes me laugh. It is
    such a sweet gesture and fun at the same time. He remembered I had
    previously stated that I wanted a Gryffindor scarf and therefor he thought
    I should have one. Well thank you so much Joseph     ❤
