A Little Piece Of Italy
A few weeks ago my boyfriend and I went to an Italian Restaurant named Taormina. I used to eat there quite frequently as a kid because it was just around the corner from where I used to live. They always had the best to-die-for garlic bread and I wondered if they would still have em’. I didn’t get disappointed but it wasn’t the same great garlic bread. They had changed it up and made it more “modern” and added a few extra things to it. It was very delicious. The pasta was still amazing though and we will definitely come back again. We both had garlic bread as a starter but I went for the classic Spaghetti Carbonara whereas he got Gamberoni alla Siciliana as the main course. For dessert I had my favorite Italian dessert Tiramisu. And it was SO good! He had a piece of plum pie with whipped cream which was good as well but it ain’t no Tiramisu!

I’m Not Mexican.
But boy do I love Mexican food! My boyfriend and I were in Roskilde the other day and we decided to stop by a cute Mexican restaurant, named Gringos, I’d been at with my father once many years ago. I loved the food and so did he. He’s actually pretty insane because he will eat a whole jar of jalapenos or chilies without sweating. I on the other hand would pass out if I did that. Anyway, the food was brilliant. So if you ever come by Roskilde and like Mexican food I’d definitely recommend it.

How I Spent My Birthday ♡
In the past, when I lived at home, I was usually woken up by my mom singing the Danish Birthday song and serving some delicious breakfast. This year was different. Well, last year was too since I didn’t live at home either but last year I was lucky enough for my Birthday to fall on a Sunday so I had my family over. This year it was a Tuesday. My boyfriend was so excited to give me his present that a few minutes past midnight he asked me if I wanted his present now. I couldn’t really decide if I wanted to open it now or later. But I could see he was nervous if he had gotten me the right thing. So I decided to open it. I actually opened it in bed and boy was it perfect! He had bought me some beautiful white gold earrings from Kenzo. I didn’t even know Kenzo made jewelry, did you? Maybe I’ve just been living under a rock or something.
For lunch we went to a café in downtown Copenhagen called “Norden”. I’ve been there many times over the years because I love love love their lunch menu. My lovely man had a burger and I had brunch. It was extremely delicious! { hopefully you can tell from the photos}. After lunch I dragged him to the Disney store cause’ I really wanted some scented candles. {My favorite candle is from the Disney store} And as amazing as he is he willingly went into the store with me and I ended up getting some strange but so very cute nail polishes as well.

For dinner he had reserved a table for us at MASH. For you who do not know what MASH is then let me explain. MASH is a very well known steak house here in Denmark and it is a tad pricey. But my god their food is amazing and so is their service. You certainly get what you pay for. Eating their steak is close to a tiny slice of heaven. I also love their “Creamy Spinach” :3 I always end up ordering that. Our plan was to eat dessert as well but we were simply too full after the appetizer and main course. I had a wonderful Birthday and I feel so lucky to have such a good man in my life.

Hello twenty-two!
…And goodbye twenty-one. I turned twenty-two last Sunday and I am now 8 years closer to thirty… yikes! I had invited my family, or well some of it, for a cake and bun eating session at my sweet little apartment. Boy was it interesting to be that many in my living room, but we managed. I think my living room is about 25 m2 maybe even smaller? and we were 14 people!! However, we did it and there was actually room enough for a couple more {can you believe it?} I felt, and still feel, like a super blessed girl {should I say woman because I’m 22? I don’t wanna :( lol} because I was surrounded by so many people I love and I got the best Birthday presents. {I’ll make a separate post with a list of the presents!} It was an amazing day!

My dad’s 45th Birthday
Last Saturday my daddy turned 45! Yay happy Birthday to him. We went to eat at a really nice Thai restaurant where I had some sushi and the others had some soup and some rice thingy { honestly not sure what the others ate } oh and I ordered some beans for my sister and I because they taste so good :D As a gift I gave him “Two for golf” so he and I are going to go play golf some day when he wants to. It’ll be fun I’m sure

Monday mumbles

Blueberry pancakes!❤ 01. Today I got up early, did my laundry, studied some and made blueberry pancakes! ohm nom nom.. I’m having one of those “I’m so glad to be me” kind of days. Do you have those days sometimes too? I just feel happy at where I am right now, it feels like things are going good and I’m good :D Also I have the luckiest schedule this semester, Mondays and Fridays off!!
❤ 02. I’ve been watching a couple of new TV-shows that just started this fall one of them is called “The Secret Circle” and I’m quite taken with it because I adore the actress who plays the main character she was also a main character of another show that unfortunately ended a while ago named Life unexpected. This new show is about witchcraft and mysterious things and that is just right up my street! Another show I decided to give a chance was “Ringer” which starrs Sarah Michelle Gellar. I actually don’t like her but the show turned out to be rather intriguing, it is not amazing but it is entertainment. Other shows I’m giving a chance is; Breaking Bad, New girl, Pan Am, The lying game, Against the wall, unforgettable and Revenge. I think I’ll do a post about all the tv shows with a short description of them since else this could be a hella lot’ of mumbling ;)
❤ 03. I’m completely smitten with glitter nail polish at the moment and I don’t have any it’s a catastrophe. However, I will get my hands on one soon I think. I’ve had my eyes on it for a couple of days and I think I have to get it. It comes in gold, silver and confetti and wouldn’t gold just look perfect this Christmas!? Yes, yes it would. Do you guys like glitter nail polish?
